Bystander Intervention Study
Enrollment Page
Hi,
Welcome to the Bystander Intervention Pilot study enrollment page. To begin the study click on the link below to access the Information Sheet and the Consent Form.
The Bystander Intervention program is an online program for males aimed at creating a safe, responsible, and inclusive campus environment for both male and females residents at Otago University. In this pilot study we are evaluating the effects of the online program with a group of male participants from a residential college and comparing their responses to those from another group of male participants from a separate residential college that has not received the online bystander intervention. We are also interested in evaluating whether or not any positive effects of the online program for males might impact on female residents' sense of safety, well-being and their relationships. We therefore, invite you to complete this first online survey on your well-being and relationships followed by two other similar online surveys later this year.
Participants who complete all three online surveys will be eligible to have their study identification number entered in a draw at the end of this year to win one of two New World Gift cards valued at $100.
15 (including 10 males) more participants are needed! The study is going well, but we need 10 more male and 5 more female residents to take part in the study. Thank you to everyone who has enrolled so far in the study and done their first online survey.
